We want creative work that feels real and made with intention. Art with personality, originality, and a strong voice whether it’s polished and literary or more raw, weird, and emotional. We are open to fiction, nonfiction, flash fiction, essays, visual art, music, poetry, and other creative work that stands out and feels personal. We care more about honesty, creativity, and perspective than fitting into one specific style.

We accept flash fiction up to 1,000 words, short stories between 1,000–7,500 words, and essays or nonfiction up to 3,000 words. Music is to be in the form of a video and less than 5 minutes long. Simultaneous submissions are completely fine, but we do not accept reprints. There is a $3 regular reading fee, and a $7 front-of-the-line option. All writing, poetry, visual art, music, and other creative submissions should be sent through the “SUBMIT NOW” button below.
